Help request!

I need help again....can you all tell me how you find it easiest to save an image from Flckr and yet save the title, link, and the credit information for that image in a convenient way. I think Caroline mentioned using Diigo...is that what you all are doing?
thanks

  1. I've really not found a good way to save it other than making it one of my Favorites on Flickr. The problem is that there is no way to organize your favorites. You can only organizer the pictures you upload to Flickr.

Diigo worked well for the saving of YouTube videos, but I don't think it would show the actual picture and would therefore be hard to look through once you've saved them all. I'd suggest just using the Favorites on Flickr.

Good question, though! I like Flickr, but would really like to have a different way to organize my favorites.

  2. Hi Scott,
Yes, I use Diigo. I tag the image with a name that will help me remember what I was looking for in the first place regardless of the title of the actual image. Then I also use the tag "photo" and "flickr". If the photos are for a specific project, then you can add a tag for that as well.

Here's a tip. Why not create a list in Diigo just for images? That way when you need an image, you can go back to that specific list and find what you need insead of searching your entire list of bookmarks.

    Just a thought or two...or three :)
